Some Uncomfortable Stuff-Zane Duke
Hello all you lovely people. Your friendly neighborhood broke college kid here to express some strange thoughts about an even stranger book.
Let me tell you, what freaked me out the most in terms of eternal punishment this time was most certainly that of the deceivers. Those who told fortunes and were witches of some sort have their heads turned backward then spending eternity walking backward so that they aren't able to see what's ahead. Not only is this absolutely out of this world, but it also makes sense, because they spent their time on Earth pursuing dark magic, and are now suffering punishment. Yet again I am satisfied by the punishment that is being administered to those who sinned in this way. It is such a clever, "you get a taste of your own medicine" type of punishment that would also suck to spend eternity in.
I also am baffled by the fact that tears can now go into buttcracks due to the turning around of the fortune teller's heads. Man what those guys wouldn't do for some itching powder, I'm sure the chafing is terrible.
Until next time friends, I'm gonna go sleep off my tired... right after a cold and refreshing glass of chocolate milk.
I commented on Kaye and Gray's posts.
I swear this stuff is so weird. Dante went into such great detail on how he went about the punishments people received in hell. Not only was the tears and butt racks thing weird but why on earth (well I guess on hell since that’s where this is) does poop have to be everywhere too?? This is just truly so messed up in my opinion, but I agree like you said these people are just being punished for their actions.
ReplyDeleteDude, if I had to spend eternity walking backwards... I would try to be the best at running backwards. I'd start a whole backwards running track team of deceivers! And we'd live our sad eternal lives winning gold medals in hell. Or soot medal, or whatever they give out in hell.
