God Katie Byars
In the devotions, It says "I have not the righteousness of Job, but I have to desire of Job: I would speak with the Almighty and I would reason with God." I know that he is making a different point here and Job was asking God why did he let Job`s life get so bad, but when you get to heaven and do all of the things that you want to do like see God and Jesus and how perfect it is as well as see all the people there and be able to worship God for all eternity would it not be nice just to talk to God? To ask how the world was made. Why did you make grass green? What do bacteria look like in their natural environment? It would be amazing to see why and how everything works, to see the ins and outs of all creation and to see it from God`s perspective it would be amazing and its own form of worshiping God. Because I think at least when we get up there won`t just be the normal types of worship, but there will be ways of worship we have never seen before. Ok, rant over, back to the readings. The death, be not proud poem is good and it is a good reminder that everyone dies eventually, but death is not our end but the beginning with God. I also like the poem I am a little world made cunningly. God made me special in His way, but I was born into a sinful world and it changed me so God must wash it away to make me truly His.
