Super Dope Warrior Princesses

Alright friends, first a relatable thing to get your attention.
Have you ever just looked at your week and thought: AAAAAAHHHHHHHH!!!!
Yeah... that's me right now. I have a lot going on and this whole being a tech major thing is going to possibly murder me this week (mentally of course). Why might you ask?
Let me grab my chocolate milk first.
Okay so, all in all, there are some things that usually are important this week that simply will not get done because I am working my tail off loading in equipment for our big Christmas event this year. Let me tell ya, things are gonna get interesting. Pray for us tech majors because we are gonna need it.
Now on to the important stuff.

Okay, so the reason this particular blog is entitled "Super Dope Warrior Princesses" is because... well, let's face it, there are a good few in this book. I just read about Camilla and how she was raised in the woods and trained to be a super awesome warrior that all the men fawn over. I.E. lines 933-end of book 7. Virgil basically describes her as being a female version of the flash, "swift to outrace the winds with her lightning pace". Now, my question is was she really that fast if all the dudes were like staring at her? Just.... putting that out there.

I fully support warrior princesses, simply because a lot of the time they are even better at what they do than men are. (Yes, I am a <young> man and I admitted that women are superior big whoop). I think that women today are all in their own right warrior princesses. I mean let's face it, they go through a lot these days, and they deserve everything that they earn. I think we should model Virgil and Roman culture and honor those warrior princesses, honor the women in our life. Men should especially focus on this.

  1. Ha Ha bet! Yes, I agree. Women do have to handle alot not only physically, but mentally. Some women are raised to be strong and powerful. I love how Virgil shows this multiple times in this book. It reminds all of the sexist writers during this era that women are more than property. However, I will say that men here are pretty strong too. Yes, they do tend to get a little prideful (i.e. the whole Helen and Trojan War thing) but they still are great leaders who represent their countries well.
