Roman Mythology or Disney Movie?

I am getting some serious Disney vibes from the beginning of Book 6. Is it just me who is feeling this? Oh well.  It reminds me of Disney's version of Hercules. You know the cartoon where Hercules is stolen from Olympus by Hades. Well, in the Disney Movie, Hercules is doing whatever he can to make it back to Olympus and his god status. He trains harder than anyone has ever trained, he takes on many battles to prove his worth, and he has to rescue his beloved Meg from the Underworld. How does this relate to Book 6? I will gladly explain how my brain has weirdly compared these two different mythological stories.
Let us start with when Aeneas docks on the coast of Cumae. Aeneas has a quest just like Hercules. His quest is to build a city in Italy. In order to build this city, he has to go through "trials," as did Hercules. Aeneas will have to suffer a war over a "foreign bride" and face a "new Achilles."
Next, Aeneas asks if he can go see the shade of his father, which I assume is his father's ghost/spirit since his father is dead, in the underworld. Reading about this made me think of the journey Hercules made in the movie to the underworld. Although they made the trip for two different reasons, my brain still compared the two.
Speaking of going to the underworld, the part where Aeneas sees Dido, his former lover, in the underworld reminded me of Hercules going to the underworld to rescue Meg.
I do not know why my brain made this comparison but that is all I could think about while reading the beginning of Book 6.

There were other interesting things I read in Book 6. I did not know that Helen had taken another husband after Paris. Also there was basically a river that could bring the dead back to life, but with a twist. They lost all memory of their previous life and started over in a new body. I bet the deja vu was real for them.
